Creamy chicken macaroni
This is my own recipe. It is really easy to make. It takes 15 minutes to prepare and 35 minutes to cook. The ingredients I used are:
125g chicken, diced
1 large onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
400g canned plum tomatoes
100ml water
150ml double cream
100g grated cheese
200g cooked macaroni
3 tbsp vegetable oil
Salt
Parsley
Method:
Add 2 tbsp vegetable oil to a pan on high heat and toss the chicken in and let it cook for 15 minutes until golden. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
Add 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the same pan on medium heat now and add the onions in. Let it cook for 2 minutes before adding the garlic in. Let it sauté for 30 seconds .
Add the chillies in and let it cook for 2 minutes before adding the plum tomatoes. Pour 100ml water to the pan and let it cook for 10 minutes.
Transfer the sauce to a blender and blitz until smooth.
Pour the sauce back into the pan, followed by the double cream and grated cheese. Stir thoroughly, season with salt and let it simmer for 1 minute.
Add the cooked chicken and macaroni in and let it cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
Serve a generous portion and garnish with parsley and extra cheese. Enjoy!
