Vegetarian sausage pizza
I was inspired by Jamie Oliver.
It takes 5 minutes to prepare and 25 minutes to cook. The ingredients I used are:
150g self-raising flour
80ml water
2 vegetarian sausages, cut into small pieces
1 onion, thinly sliced
Handful of walnuts
Handful of grapes
3 tbsp homemade sundried tomato pesto
Goat cheese
Rosemary
Salt and pepper
Making the base:
Add water and a pinch of salt to the flour, and mix.
Knead the dough until elastic and smooth.
Let it rest for a couple of minutes
The toppings:
Add the sausage to a pan on medium heat. Let it cook for a couple of seconds.
Drizzle some olive oil all over and let it cook until brown and soft.
Add the onions, grapes and walnuts to the pan and stir.
Season with salt and pepper and remove the pan from the heat.
The pizza:
Roll the dough into a slimmed shape of about 35cm long and 10cm wide.
Transfer to a baking tray and spread the pesto all over.
Add the cooked toppings, followed by goat cheese and rosemary.
Put the tray in a pre-heated oven and let it cook for 20 mins at 180°C. Enjoy!
