Maple syrup glazed pancakes with fruits
With a zesty twist, this maple syrup glazed pancakes with fruits is so tasty, fresh and filling! I was inspired by Jamie Oliver’s one-cup pancakes’ recipe.
It takes 5 minutes to prepare and 10 minutes to cook. The ingredients I used are:
1 cup* self-raising flour
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tbsp butter
Handful mix of blueberries, strawberries and raspberries
Yoghurt
1 slice of orange
I started by mixing the flour, milk and egg to form a batter until it was smooth. I greased a frying pan on medium heat with 1 teaspoon butter. Using a tablespoon, I scooped some of the batter and gently poured it in a circular motion in the pan.
Whilst the pancake was cooking, I halved all the fruits and squeezed the orange slice all over. I then added 2 tbsp yoghurt in the middle of my serving plate and sprinkled some fruits on top. I let the pancake cook until the bubbles started to pop before flipping to the other side. I let it cook for 10 seconds then poured some maple syrup in the pan to glaze the pancake. I flipped it to ensure there was a generous glaze on each side. I then removed the pancake and gently placed it on top of the yoghurt and fruits in my plate.
I repeated the steps with the rest of the batter, and stacked them in the plate right after they were done. I added yoghurt and fruits to every short stack (3 pancakes). Afterwards, the maple syrup glazed pancakes with fruits were ready to be relished.
